I started writing Transcendence almost three years ago because I had a story to tell—one of betrayal, revenge, female rage, powerful women, love, and redemption. I hope I’ve done it justice with the way I chose to tell it, and the words I used to describe it. I knew it featured a wicked antagonist (a soul warped into the demonic) and a protagonist who is your every-day aged 30ish working mother: busy and trying to enjoy life in between the demands of work and family.
